Hunza, Skardu, or Fairy Meadows

Hunza

PKR 55,000per seat

Hunza is the Karakoram at its most accessible, with orchards and bazaars in Karimabad, 7000 m peaks above the valley, and Baltit and Altit forts over the Hunza River. You boat on Attabad Lake, walk beneath the Passu Cones, and when the road is open reach Khunjerab Pass at 4,693 m, the highest paved international border crossing in the world. A night in Sost puts you an hour from the pass, so the Khunjerab day is a morning excursion instead of a twelve-hour round trip from Karimabad.

Skardu

PKR 55,000per seat

Skardu sits where the Indus meets Baltistan, with silver dunes at Shigar backed by snow peaks, Manthoka waterfall, and Shigar Fort, a seventeenth century palace on the rock above apricot orchards. In season Deosai National Park opens above 4,000 m on 4x4 jeeps with a night at Pakistan Glamps, or we head into the pine forests of Basho Valley when Deosai is closed. Daylight driving on the Jaglot to Skardu road and a Chilas BBQ night on the return keep the journey comfortable from start to finish.

Fairy Meadows

PKR 58,000per seat

Fairy Meadows is one of Pakistan's most famous mountain camps, a lush alpine meadow at 3,300 m facing the immense Raikot wall of Nanga Parbat, the ninth highest peak on Earth. You follow the Karakoram Highway to Raikot Bridge, ride 4x4 jeeps to Tattu Village, and trek the pine forest trail to Broad View Hotel with a guided day walk all the way to Beyal Camp and Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Three consecutive nights at the meadows with a bonfire evening and fresh Karahi dinner let you experience the mountain properly instead of rushing up and down.

Questions travellers ask before booking

Everything about pricing, room sharing, motorway transit nights, and road closures, answered in plain language.

Why does the 6-day Hunza trip cost PKR 55,000 when Coaster tours charge PKR 22,000?

A typical Coaster tour puts 22 to 28 people into a bus, sleeps four or five strangers to a room, changes hotels every night, drives mountain roads overnight to save a night's room cost, and leaves entries, jeeps, and boat rides out of the headline price. Travelzoak runs a 12-seat Toyota Grand Cabin (8 to 12 guests), books clean hotels at three to a room, includes breakfast, dinner (plus BBQ night), 4x4 jeeps to Naltar Valley, the Attabad Lake boat, entry tickets, and travel insurance, and drives mountain roads in daylight only.

Why is every trip marked 'Planned' right now, and do I pay anything on the bookings page?

No deposit is taken when you submit a booking request. Every trip stays marked Planned until vehicle fitness and permit papers are on file, specific hotel rooms are held, travel insurance is confirmed in writing for that route, and the road plan is written. When a departure opens for booking, everyone who sent a booking enquiry gets first notice on WhatsApp for 24 hours before seats open to the public.

Can couples, friends, or families upgrade from three-to-a-room to a private twin room?

Yes. Three to a room is our standard base price (never four or five). If two people want a private twin-sharing room for all hotel and lodge nights, the upgrade is about PKR 10,000 per person on the 6-day Hunza trip, PKR 10,000 on the 6-day Skardu trip, and PKR 10,000 on the 6-day Fairy Meadows trip, quoted per departure.

Why is the Day 0 departure an overnight motorway transit instead of a night stop in Naran or Abbottabad?

Two reasons: safety and compliance. Leaving Lahore at 10:00 PM puts the flat motorway leg (Lahore to Mansehra) overnight, so the group reaches the mountain road at dawn and drives the Karakoram Highway, Babusar, or Besham entirely in daylight. It also means we cross Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in transit only, with every hotel night inside Gilgit-Baltistan.

How do payments work when booking opens? Why don't you accept JazzCash or EasyPaisa?

Most informal tour sellers collect advances into a personal JazzCash or personal bank account, leaving you with no legal recourse if a trip is cancelled. Travelzoak is an SECP-incorporated company (Travelzoak (Private) Limited, Registration 0246068). When a departure opens, the 50 percent advance per seat and the balance (due seven days before departure) are paid exclusively to the corporate bank account in the company's name.

What happens if Babusar Top, Khunjerab Pass, or Deosai is closed due to snow or landslides?

Our road rule is published before you pay. If Babusar is closed, we use the all-weather Besham route on the Karakoram Highway, which adds about four hours. If a day-excursion high point like Khunjerab Pass, Deosai Plains, or Nanga Parbat Base Camp is closed on the day, the group runs to the nearest open alternative (such as Basho Valley in Skardu) at Travelzoak's cost. If the jeep road to Tattu or the only route to your valley closes before departure, the trip moves and you receive a full 100 percent refund within seven days or a free transfer.
